Yoga for health – Wednesdays

This 10-week programme has been commissioned by the NHS with the support of the College of Medicine and Public Health England. The yoga4health Programme was created by experts to lower stress levels and improve relaxation skills – thus improving mental health.

Yoga4Health fuses ancient practices with modern medical science. It is an effective social prescribing programme promoting self-care among patients with stress-related diseases such as heart problems, type 2 diabetes, anxiety, depression, obesity, social isolation and post-Covid fatigue.

The classes can be done on a mat or a chair.  Practice videos and manuals can be provided for regular home practice.  No previous experience of yoga needed.  All fitness levels welcome.
